Duringthe month-18;500_gallons of sludge-was removed from:the.plant.All waste sludge was aerobically — <br /> digested and decanted to reduce volume. All sludge removed is taken to the City of Stockton Regional <br /> Wastewater Control Facility. <br /> Exceptions/Violations <br /> 1. High effluent BOD concentration was 60.1 mglL <br /> 2. High effluent settleable solids mere 7.4 ml L. <br /> There were no other visible indicators of problems with the effluent during the time period of sampling. <br /> High levels of BOD and Settleable solids may be indicators of bottom sludge in Pond 2 being stirred up <br /> during filter cleaning. Pond twill be cleaned and filter media replaced during March maintenance period. <br /> Calibration Log ; <br /> M <br /> Shadow Lake does not use any analytical instruments that require calibration for the reporting of waste <br /> discharge requirements.
