4r
Mr Brian Cobb
February 29, 1996
Page 2
Quarterly Monitoring Results
Depth-to-water measurements and calculated groundwater elevations are summarized in Table i
Groundwater elevations have increased in all of the monitoring wells relative to the previous
quarter. From the data collected on December 12, 1995, the groundwater flow direction was
determined to be west and northwest. The average hydraulic gradient across the eastern and
southern portions of the site was approximately 0 002 feet per foot (calculated between wells
MW-3 and MW-2) Groundwater elevations and flow directions for December 12, 1995 are
shown on Figure 1
TPHg was identified in three of the eight wells sampled at concentrations ranging from 2,100
micrograms per liter (µg/L) (well MW-1) to 12,000 µg/L (well MW-5) Benzene was detected
in three of the eight well at concentrations ranging from 12 pg/L (well MW-1) to 180 Mcg/L
(well MW-5). Analytical results of groundwater samples are summarized in Table 1 and
illustrated on Figure 1 The analytical laboratory report for the December 12, 1995 sampling
event is included in Attachment A
If you have any questions regarding this quarterly monitoring report, please contact me at
(510) 210-2278.
Sincerely,
BROWN AND CALDWELL
Todd Miller
California Registered Geologist No 6328
TM lkg
Attachment
cc Mr. John Reeves, Attorney at Law
Ms. Linda Turkatte, San Joaquin County Public Health Services Department
Mr. Steve Camp, Brown and Root
I,
E
, E U.RE1156S\ATRLYRPI'4100678ti4I'H-1995 WPS.
i p
I I
1 `
