The containers <br />were: <br />-One blue 55 gallon drums of used coolant, and <br />-One blue 55 gallon drum of oily water were observed with unreadable, liquid soaked, dirty labels. <br />-One black 55 gallon drum in the south part of the shop was observed with some oily liquid inside and no label. <br />-Two 5 gallon plastic buckets containing metal fines were observed next to the brake grinder without a label. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br />words "Hazardous Waste', name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br />(contents), accumulation start date <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br />action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br />(EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The report was amended by <br />the EHD.
