Gabriel SteinerJob Description (i.e., specific waste handling duties):EmergenciesLabelsCompatibility/StorageManifests/ReceiptsEmployees in the Service Department understand that he or she is the first to handle the waste generated at this facility. All of the service employees have been trained on the importance of wearing PPE when handling any type of hazardous waste. Service Employees have also been trained to not mix different waste streams and to not store incompatible wastes in close proximity to one another. The need for keeping hazardous waste storage containers closed and labeling hazardous waste containers with both the contents and the accumulation start date are covered during the annual Hazardous Waste training. Specifically, service employees deal with the following waste streams:1. Used oil and waste coolant are collected from serviced cars and pumped into double walled tanks that hold the product until the contract waste hauler arrives.2. Used oil filters are drained, gathered and placed into a labeled 55 gallon drum for the next pick up by the contract waste hauler.3.
