A copy of the shipment
manifest/receipt for the waste oil is included in Attachment B.
KML has determined that the waste oil generated during our operations are hazardous
waste as defined by California law. When generated, the oil will be placed into a
properly labeled 55 -gallon steel drum (with the required accumulation start date). The
oil drums will be placed on appropriately -sized spill pallets to ensure any possible spills
are contained. Once one or more drums are filled, the oil will be manifested, then
transported/disposed in bulk on a quarterly basis by an appropriately
licensed/registered contractor. A photograph of the current waste oil storage area is
included in Attachment A.
Item 605: "...Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste."
Response: As stipulated, all drums containing any category of waste have been labeled
as required by Federal, State and/or local regulations. KML's procedures have been
altered to ensure that waste containers are now properly labeled before they begin to
be used.
KML trusts that this response adequately addresses the issues identified. Our signed Return to
Compliance Certification is included in Attachment C. If you have any questions, please contact
me via email/phone at leo@kmlcorp.com or 209-943-2912.
Regards,
Leonardo Valdes
Plant Manager
Kustom Material Laminators -Stockton
Attachments: AttachmentA—Photographs
Attachment B —Waste Shipment Document
Attachment C—Return to Compliance Certification
KML Stockton CERS 10184437
Page 2
