From: Kim Huerta
To: Backus,Garrett
Cc: Store Manager 6 Stockton
Subject: RE:West Marine Stockton-Follow Up
Date: Wednesday,August 7,2019 1:28:24 PM
Attachments: imaae001.Dna
image002.pnno
Hi Garrett,
For the gasoline, without knowing what the SKUs it's hard to say why we had that occur. Our policy is
not to take these products. We might sell/or have sold at one time that falls within the bin type but
I'm not completely clear on what these were.
If we have flares that expire while on our shelves we would dispose of them within our Haz bins. We
do encourage our stores to check the expiration dates so that customer aren't purchasing expired
flares.
I hope that helps.
Thank you!
Kim
From: Backus, Garrett [mailto:gbackus@sjgov.org]
Sent: Wednesday, August 7, 2019 10:45 AM
To: Kim Huerta
Cc: Store Manager 6 Stockton
Subject: RE: West Marine Stockton - Follow Up
Hi Kim,
Can you explain why the store has hazardous waste manifests for gasoline and flare disposal?
