When introduced, water immediately vapor- <br />izes and creates a burst of steam, leaving behind <br />any minerals that had previously been dissolved. <br />Though a small amount of minerals are necessary <br />for proper operation, excessive amounts will cause <br />poor steaming and may permanently damage the <br />Generator. <br /> 1. Turn the power off, unplug the power cord, <br />and allow the unit to cool. <br /> 2. Remove the Heat Shield and Top Cover. <br /> 3.
