<br /> This plan is provided to establish procedures for storage,management,transportation,and disposal of
<br /> hazardous waste at BI's 1"tl Pet Hospitals(Banfield)in accordance with federal,stale,and local
<br /> regulations.California's Department of Toxic 6ubstances(DTSC)has delegated authority for M1azardous
<br /> waste regulation implementation and enforcement to local Certified Unified Program Agencies(CUPAS).
<br /> Hospitals may receive correspondence antl occasionally be inspected by the local CUPAS,
<br /> This plan is applicable to allactivities at Banfield that result in the generation,handling,storage,and
<br /> disposal of hazardous wastes.This document should be used by all personnelwho handle,generate,or

<br /> This hospital has a California Hazardous Waste Identification Number and is permitted by the local
<br /> COPA,In accordance with California regulations.As the hospital is unlikely to generate more than 2,200
<br /> Pounds of hazartlous waste in a month,te hospital is consitlered a Small quantity Generator(SOG)
<br /> under Title 22 of California Code of Regulahtions
