Dragon Products LLC <br /> Training Plan <br /> y � g <br /> DRACIMON <br /> Mitigation <br /> Hazardous Materials/Waste spills are mitigated via the following: <br /> 1) The building is protected by an automatic fire sprinkler system and this system is monitored <br /> 24 hours a day by Bay Alarm and Ontel Security Services. <br /> 2) All chemical storage areas are equipped with surplus capacity containment walls - spill <br /> barriers. <br /> 3) A minimum 1/2 ton of sand along with 25 lbs bags of absorbent material are stored adjacent <br /> to the chemical storage areas. <br /> 4) Safety Glasses, Safety Shields, Rubber gloves, Aprons, Protective Footwear and Air <br /> Respirators are required to be worn in all exposure areas. <br /> 5) The Buildings Emergency Coordinator (EC) or designated alternate is contacted <br /> immediately to identify the nature and the extent of the problem. <br /> 6) If there is a safety risk the EC will immediately order all employees to exit the building by <br /> initiating a pre-arranged migration evacuation plan through the use of a internal <br /> communication system (PA or Bullhorn) <br /> 7) The EC then notifies the Fire Department by calling (911). <br /> 8) The EC then secures all emergency shut-off valves (as required). <br /> 9) All Safety Team Leaders are to perform an employee team head count once they have <br /> assembled at the pre-designated staging areas and report back to the EC of any employees <br /> that are not accounted for. <br /> 10)When Emergency Response Units arrive the EC will be made available to assist with <br /> (Facility Maps, Drawings, Material Safety Data Sheets M.S.D.S., etc.) and to relay current <br /> conditions. <br /> 11)EC will identify and record all actions by Business or Emergency Response Units taken to <br /> control the incident. <br /> 12)Secure the incident scene to include treatment, storage or proper disposal of hazardous or <br /> non-hazardous materials or waste involved. <br />
