A generator shall prepare a Uniform <br /> Hazardous Waste Manifest on EPA Form 8700-22 prior to the transport of a hazardous waste for off-site transfer, <br /> treatment, storage or disposal. Ensure that a manifest is prepared each time hazardous waste is transported for off <br /> site transfer, treatment, storage or disposal. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 203 HSC 25189.5(c)Transported or caused transportation of hazardous waste to an unauthorized point. <br /> Lab pack hazardous wastes were transported off site by Manteca High School to Manteca Unified School District at <br /> 2271 W Louise Ave. Manteca, CA 95336 on 11/27/18, 5/25/18, 2/23/18, 2/24/17, 5/26/17, and 11/21/17. Manteca <br /> Unified School District is not a permitted TSDF. Hazardous wastes shall be disposed of only by transportation to a <br /> permitted hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facility(TSDF). Immediately cease disposal of <br /> hazardous waste to Manteca Unified School District and ensure that all future waste is hauled by a licensed <br /> hazardous waste transporter to a permitted TSDF. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> One metal 30 gallon yellow container with used absorbent was observed with no cap located in the welding room <br /> near the entrance of the class. All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or <br /> removing waste. Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when <br /> not adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> One yellow 30 gallon metal container with used absorbent located in the welding room observed with no hazardous <br /> waste label.
