Toxic Bin- TX <br /> Examples include but not limited to: <br /> • All Makeup, Health & Beauty <br /> • Broken Lightbulbs (bagged for containment) <br /> • Disinfectants <br /> • Items containing mercury <br /> • Pesticides <br /> • Ice melt <br /> • Lotions, Shampoos & Conditioners <br /> • Liquid cosmetics <br /> Keywords for Toxins: <br /> o Toxic or poison <br /> o Harmful if swallowed <br /> o Keep out of reach of children <br /> Oxidizer Bin — OX <br /> Examples include but not limited to: <br /> • Cleaning products <br /> • Bleach <br /> • Hydrogen Peroxide <br /> • Hair Bleach products <br /> • Benzoyl Peroxide <br /> Keywords for Oxidizers: <br /> o Causes burns <br /> o Avoid contact with skin or eyes <br /> o Harmful or fatal if swallowed <br /> o Reactive <br /> o Oxidizer <br /> o Chlorine <br /> o Bleach <br /> o Sodium Hypochlorite <br /> Should you have any questions about what bin an item should be sorted <br /> into, call Stericycle at 1-800-815-3770. <br /> Materials that are supplied by TJX cleaning vendors should be removed <br /> from the stores by the cleaners. In the case where these products are <br /> disposed of in the stores, please ensure that they are placed in the proper <br /> disposal bins. <br /> • Contact Home Office Facilities Management to report if cleaning <br /> supplies are being disposed of onsite. <br /> The bins will be picked up every 180 days by a designated vendor, or as <br /> needed. <br /> • Stores may contact Stericycle (800-815-3770) directly for extra <br /> pickups, as necessary, between their regularly scheduled six-month <br /> pickups. Stores should not wait for all bins to be filled - a pickup <br /> should be called for when any one bin is full. <br /> Non- Hazardous/Regulated Waste should continue to be disposed of in <br /> accordance with your store's waste program. <br />
