The containers <br /> were: <br /> 1.At least two Toxics Hazardous Waste containers storing shampoos, hand soap, and cosmetics were missing the <br /> name of the generator on the container hazardous waste labels. <br /> 2. At least two Aerosols and Flammable Liquids Hazardous Waste containers storing aerosols, perfumes, nail polish <br /> remover, and candles were missing the name of the generator on the container hazardous waste labels. <br /> 3. An Oxidizers Hazardous Waste container storing a face ointment/cleanser and a shampoo/hair treatment was <br /> missing the name of the generator on the container hazardous waste label. <br /> 4.A Corrosive Acids Hazardous Waste container storing jewelry cleaner was missing the name of the generator on <br /> the container hazardous waste label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Notes: <br /> -Cesar Fajardo, the store manager, did not grant consent for photos to be taken during the inspection. <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. A complete report was <br /> finished on 8/19/2020 and replaces the initial checklist. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 9/18/2020. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the <br /> report/checklist instead of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be <br /> provided at EHD hourly rate($152).
