No disposal <br /> records were on site for this waste. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do <br /> not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact <br /> a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the <br /> EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Two drums of used oil were observed in the shop storage area, one with no hazardous property marked and the other <br /> with no label. According to the disposal records on site, used oil was last picked up on September 23, 2015. All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> - the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties (ignitable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br /> - physical state (liquid, solid) <br /> - composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> A 55 gallon black steel drum of used oil filters was observed in the outside shed area without an accumulation start <br /> date. The disposal records on site indicate that filters were last picked up on May 7, 2015. Used oil filters shall be <br /> drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with <br /> an accumulation start date. Immediately label these filters with an accumulation start date and ensure that all used <br /> oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by December 25, 2015. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br /> online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
