OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The following were observed in the hazardous waste storage area: -Two 55-gallon containers with used diesel observed with no hazardous waste label. Inspector provided hazardous waste labels to operator. Operator filled out all required information. -One 55-gallon container with used oil observed with no hazardous waste label. Inspector provided hazardous waste label to operator. Operator filled out all required information. The following were observed in the satellite accumulation storage area: -One 55-gallon container with used paper oil filters observed with no hazardous waste label. -Two 55-gallon drum with used paper oil filters observed with no hazardous waste label. REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition (contents), accumulation start date CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD)within 30 days. This is a repeat violation, Class II.
