Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for any <br /> applicable permits and requirements. A copy of the fire permit must be onsite at the time of <br /> inspection. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Zuna Barker at(209) 953-7311 to arrange the following inspection appointments (a 48- <br /> hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br /> • Verification that tanks are cleaned to Title 22 CCR 67383.3(e)(2) standards and inerted as <br /> required prior to removal, adequate lower explosion level (LEL) readings just prior tanks <br /> removal are required. <br /> • Removal of four tanks, removal of all associated sumps, piping, and equipment <br /> • Soil and/or water sampling (below removed tanks, sumps, piping, and from stockpiled soil) <br /> • Verification of Tank ID number marked on the UST <br /> 4. If the removed backfill material and/or soils are found to be contaminated they must be disposed <br /> of at an approved disposal location. Appropriate clean backfill must be provided. Treatment of soil <br /> onsite can only be performed under a hazardous waste treatment permit. <br /> 5. Inert the UST with dry ice after triple rinsing at the 30-pounds of dry ice per 1,000-gallon volume <br /> ratio; be aware, additional testing/monitoring to ensure the tank remains inerted will be required. <br /> 1868 E.
