Hazelton Ave. <br />Stockton, CA 95205 <br />Re: PR0544552 FA0010219; 2115 W Washington St. (June 11, 2019) <br /> Westway Feed Products LLC (CERS 10183333) <br /> EPA/State ID: CAT000612317 <br /> RETURN TO COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATION <br />Mr. John Alaniz, <br />In response to the Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report of June 11, <br />2019 for the Westway Feed Products LLC (WFP) facility in Stockton, CA, I submit the following <br />corrective actions to address the reported “violations” to receive RETURN TO COMPLIANCE <br />CERTIFICATION: <br />#110 CCR 66262.40(a) Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three <br />years. <br />#608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> WFP Stockton has requested past three (3) years of hazardous waste manifests and disposal <br />records from our contractors who performs periodic preventive maintenance on our <br />compressor and forklifts. We have received Work Order Inspections and Invoices demonstrating <br />used oil, coolants and filters. <br />o See attachment 110 Used Oil Documentation and 608 Forklift Periodic Preventive <br />Maintenance Records) <br /> Starting 6/12/19, WFP Stockton will require contractors who provide services that generate <br />hazardous waste to provide hazardous waste manifests and disposal records. <br /> Obtaining copies of the past three (3) years of waste manifests and disposal records from the <br />contractors who dealt with the spent filters, used oil and/or coolant is difficult for the <br />contractors to locate within the time frame requested (30 days from 6/11/19). <br /> If/when we get the documentation, either Andrew Torres or I will forward the documentation, if <br />necessary. <br />#303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or <br />decontamination equipment. <br /> The safety shower and eyewash unit next to the Mix Building that was found without the “dust” <br />cover on one of the eyewash nozzles, was missing.
