Mortality is incinerated in an incinerator onsite daily. <br /> • All of the units have a flush system. There are 3 lagoons onsite. One for each unit. The manure is <br /> flushed out of each unit into its corresponding lagoon. Every 1-2 days, any manure that was not <br /> flushed out by the system is scraped out. <br /> • When birds are molting, facility hand filters feathers out of the wastewater through an opening in the <br /> system located on the outside of each unit. <br /> • Odors inside the units, outside the units, and near the lagoons were light. <br /> • No flies or fly breeding was observed. Facility uses fly bait(Quikstrike)to control fly bait <br /> population. <br /> • Bait stations were present both inside and outside all units. All bait stations that were checked <br /> contained bait. <br /> • Both wellheads were in good condition. <br /> 1868 E.
