Storage of hazardous waste can remain onsite for up to <br />six months of start accumulation date. Ensure the hazardous waste is transported by a licensed <br />hazardous waste hauler to a hazardous waste disposal facility. Retain disposal receipt onsite for a <br />minimum of three years. <br />- Provided hazardous waste labeling instruction sheet and free labeling stickers. Hazardous waste must <br />be properly labeled with the minimum following information: <br />1. words "Hazardous Waste" 2. name & generator address <br />3. contents/ composition 4. physical state: liquid or solid <br />5. hazardous property and 6. a start accumulation date <br />- Contingency plan / Hazardous Waste Emergency Information on facility's own sheet posted by office <br />door: contains emergency coordinator and fire and police department phone numbers, fire extinguisher <br />and spill control locations. <br />- Provided free training courses at EHD 2010 year schedule. New 2011 year posted on website (link <br />found in letterhead). <br />- No universal waste found. Universal waste: fluorescent tubes, alkaline batteries, electronic devices, etc <br />must not be disposed into the garbage. Ensure universal waste is stored in a structurally sound <br />container and properly labeled as "Universal Waste- (contents)" and accumulation start date.
