Since the two pumps will alternate, a check valve is to be installed on each 2" discharge line from
each pump before connection into a single 2" line. A reducer will be used to connect this 2"
discharge line to an"end-feed" 4" tightline manifold that is to be capped at the opposite end.
Three,4" dia. perforated leachline pipes are to "Tee"connect to this manifold and will allow the
distribution of effluent through these three pipes,with the perforations set at the 4 o'clock and
8 o'clock positions. The pipes are to be capped at the ends and equally spaced in a 25 ft N-S x 30
ft E-W=750 sf filter bed filter bed. Twelve inches of drain rock are to be placed below the pipes
and 2" of drain rock above the pipes,then covered with filter fabric. Backfill with excavated soil
to a depth of 6" over the filter fabric to match surrounding grade.
Attached to this document, is a Duplex Pump Station from Septic Solutions, Inc. to give additional
detail of the proposed system. It is my understanding that Mr. Jorge Cabrera is to be the contractor
for this project. Mr. Cabrera is under no obligation to use this system from Septic Solutions; it is
only included to provide guidelines.
If there should be any questions regarding the contents of this document,please contact the
undersigned.
Respectfully submitted, tofess;
CHESNEY CONSULTING a4 °d
0 D.
