Regarding beneficial uses, the,Basin Flan <br /> states `all ground waters in t.e Region are considered as suitable or potentially suitable, at a <br /> minimum, for municipal and domestic water supply, agricultural supply, industrial service: supply, <br /> and industrial process supply." Criapter 1V of the Basin Plan requires local agencies to enforce <br /> ordinance requirements to ensure.that developrnent proposals do not impair or threaten to impair <br /> any waters of the State. Sari Joaquin County utilizes soil suitabcity and nitrate load i ag -studies to <br /> determine if development, proposals pose a threat its groundwater.
