Description of how and when each FTU will be closed.The description shall identify the maximum extent of the <br /> operation during the life of the FTU(s),and how the applicable requirements of sections 66264.178, 66265.114, <br /> 66265.197(a),66265.197(b), (c)(1)and (c)(2)and 66265.404(attached at end of this document)will be met. <br /> a. Based on a new Facility(2018)with expected life span of 25 years,the Facility may schedule a PBR <br /> Closure in year 2043. <br /> b. If any portion of the PBR Facility is no longer operable or is deemed not serviceable,those portions of the <br /> FTUs will be replaced or taken out of service. <br /> c. Steps needed to decontaminate the treatment equipment: Once a FTU is taken out of service, <br /> equipment will be triple rinsed,cut into manageable size pieces(3'x3'or less)and disposed of as either <br /> non-contaminated or contaminated waste—depended on designation of the equipment at the time of <br /> closure. <br /> 2. An estimate of the maximum inventory of waste in storage and in treatment at anytime during the operation <br /> of the FTU(s)at the facility <br /> a. Maximum inventory of the FTU(s) is the maximum volume of the Waste Holding Tanks(4,000 gallons— <br /> plus two(2)55 gallon drums of any after maintenance service sludge awaiting pickup). <br /> b. Total:4110 gallons <br />
