Since no response had been
received by Partner by May 5, 2017, Partner contacted the agency to
inquire the status of the record search request. On May 5, 2017, Mr.
Marporola indicated that the agency was backlogged on record
requests, and the agency had not fully completed the record search
request. Mr. Marporola did state that there were no records
associated with site mitigation (LOP) or USTs; however, none of the
other branches of the SJCEHD had completed their part of the
record search. Since the subject property was permitted for storage
tanks (presumed to be ASTs since no UST records were identified) in
1985 based on building records (see Section 4.1.6), the past and
present use of hazardous materials, and the generation of hazardous
waste are indicative, the remaining portions of the record search is
deemed significant and should be reviewed by Partner when the
records become available.
As of the date of this report, Partner is awaiting a complete response
from the SJCEHD.
