The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for HECTOR REYNOSO MOBILE SERVICE as of November20 , 2019 . Open violations from September 19, 2019 inspection Violation #101 - Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. OBSERVATION This business does not have an active hazardous waste ID number in the California Department of Toxic Substances Control ( DTSC) database . REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store , dispose of, transport or offer for transportation , hazardous waste without having received an Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA) Identification ( ID) Number . A State EPA ID number is required for generators of less than 100 kg RCRA hazardous waste per month , less than 1 kg of acutely hazardous waste per month or any amount of non- RCRA hazardous waste. ID numbers are unique to a business and site location . CORRECTIVE ACTION : Go to the DTSC web site at https : //dtsc. ca . gov/apply-for- hazardous-waste-epa- id -number/ to reactivate your State ID number. OBSERVATIONS The facility generates ash waste from cleaning diesel particulate filters . Hector Reynoso , Owner, was not sure how he was going to dispose of the waste. REGULATION GUIDANCE: Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste as specified in Title 22 California Code of Regulations (CCR) . There are wastes that are listed as hazardous wastes . There are wastes that exhibit one or more of the hazardous waste characteristics : toxic, corrosive , reactive or ignitable . CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately make a complete hazardous waste determination for the ash waste , and manage it according to Title 22 CCR . Use Safety Data Sheets (SDS ) , waste sampling and test results or other knowledge to support your hazardous waste determination . Waste testing must be done using methods specified in Title 22 CCR including sections 66261 . 20-24 . Submit a statement and supporting documentation with your hazardous waste determination .
