The EHD has written the complete report which replaces the initial checklist. Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting paperwork, within 30 days of receiving the complete inspection report. Note: This facility is a new business, less than a year old. A submittal for an EPA ID has been made as recent as 8/27/2019. The following items were corrected on site: Item 1: OBSERVATION: A complete modified contingency plan was not posted at the facility. Operator filled out modified contingency plan on site. REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. Item 2: OBSERVATION: This business's hazardous waste activities have not been reported on the California Electronic Reporting System (CERS)website. Operator created CERS account while inspector was on site. Inspector accepted CERS submittal. REGULATION GUIDANCE: Each regulated business shall report program data electronically on the CERS website. Item 3: OBSERVATION: The following area does not have adequate aisle space: -55 gallon containers with used oil observed with debris and miscellaneous items on top of and surrounding container. Operator corrected on site by cleaning out debris and miscellaneous items and creating adequate aisle space. REGULATION GUIDANCE: The owner or operator shall maintain aisle space to allow the unobstructed movement of personnel, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment to any area of facility operation in an emergency, unless it can be demonstrated to the Department that aisle space is not needed for any of these purposes. Item 4: OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling.
