" <br /> 2.Place store(ESIM)hazardous waste product in the corresponding container. <br /> 3.Store(ESIM)hazardous waste provider will pick up contents of corresponding container. <br /> Store(ESIM)hazardous waste providers service stores at least every 60 days.The store hazardous waste provider will stop in a; <br /> receiving for the store hazardous waste and in the Pharmacy for the non-controlled(DEA)pharmacy hazardous waste. <br /> i <br /> Store(ESIM)hazardous pickup schedules can be found on: <br /> s Workbench ;_ogistics i Resource Recovery ESIM <br /> DEA Hazardous Waste Provider <br /> The DEA hazardous waste provider will collect pharmaceutical hazardous waste for controlled substances(CII-CA that were <br />' identified in the Genco system.Any controlled hazardous waste must be disposed of using a hazardous waste provider <br /> licensed by the DEA. <br /> DEA hazardous waste is picked up once every year(exception:twice every year in MN and CA).The schedule can be found on: <br /> .';Workbench Resource RecovG"y'' <br /> 1.The licensed DEA vendor will call the pharmacy one to two business days before the DEA pickup to confirm the pharmacist <br /> will be on site the day and time of the pickup. <br /> 2.DEA waste provider arrives for pickup and must present their identification to the pharmacist. <br /> 3.The DEA hazardous vendor will inventory product in the presence of the pharmacist. <br /> 4.Pharmacist ensures inventory counts match vendor counts prior to signing DEA paperwork. <br /> 5.Provider prepares all required DEA and EPA paperwork in their truck. <br /> 6.Provider re-engages the pharmacist to properly transfer the DEA pharmaceuticals and paperwork. <br /> 7.Pharmacist files store copy of DEA paperwork with other DEA forms. <br /> 8.Driver removes product from Pharmacy along with proper paperwork. <br /> 9.After pickup is complete, Pharmacy will receive follow-up from licensed DEA provider with letter of destruction and signed <br /> waste manifest of product picked up. <br /> 10. Pharmacist files letter of destruction along with waste manifest and retains for a minimum of three years. <br />
