Heran <br /> Re: Wilfie Farms <br /> Carter Road Egg Ranch <br /> Dear Ms. Heran: <br /> This office represents Mr. William Huang and Wilfie Farms <br /> Inc. who are the owners of the above egg ranch. on May 24, 1995, <br /> the Carter Road Egg Ranch was placed on 12 months probation with <br /> certain conditions due to problems with flies. Mr. Huang has <br /> spent a substantial sum of money to improve the facilities and <br /> correct this problem. With assistance from your department and <br /> Dr. Syed A. Bokhari , he has adopted a manure management plan <br /> which has eliminated the fly and odor problem. <br /> Since the adoption of the manure management plan, his <br /> premises have been inspected on a routine basis and such <br /> inspections have been entirely satisfactory. Our client advises <br /> us that on the January 9, 1996 inspection, Mr. Biedermann of your <br /> department indicated that he had not seen an egg ranch look as <br /> good for more than 10 years. <br /> It is our understanding that you have the authority to <br /> reduce the length of the probationary period if this is warranted <br /> by the improvements made and the conditions found on the <br /> property. We would respectfully request that you consider <br /> reducing the length of the probationary period inthis case to <br /> six months in light of the inspection history of the property <br /> during the last six months. <br />
