The following sections present a brief description of the site and project, our scope <br /> of services, and the findings of our investigation . <br /> On May 4, 2018, Technicon was present, along with a San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD) staff, following the removal of a 100-gallon kerosene underground storage tank <br /> (UST) . The UST had been removed prior to Technicon's arrival on site. One soil sample was <br /> collected two feet beneath the UST location at six feet below ground surface. The soil sample <br /> collected during this investigation was collected by use of a slide hammer into a clean stainless- <br /> ,'�steel tube. After sampling , the ends of the sample tube were covered with Teflon® film, capped with <br /> plastic end caps, labeled , placed into a plastic bag and sealed . The sample was then placed in an <br /> ice chest cooled with synthetic ice for delivery to the analytical laboratory for chemical analysis. <br /> The soil samples were chemically analyzed for the presence and concentration of Benzene, <br /> Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Total Xylenes (BTEX) , total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH- <br /> g), and total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPH-d) by EPA method 8015, PCBs by EPA <br /> method 8082, Oil and Grease by EPA method 1664A, SVOCs by EPA method 8270C, VOCs by <br /> EPA method 8260B, and CAM 17 Metals by EPA method 6020. Castle Analytical Laboratory in <br /> Atwater, California and McCampbell Analytical Laboratory in Pittsburg , California are state-certified <br /> laboratories and conducted the soil analyses. <br /> CORPORATE OFFICE — 4539 N.
