Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> NOTES: <br /> -According to Sarah Rowland, Assistant Store Manager, the facility receives overstock product to sell from other <br /> facilities, such as Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, and Staples, on Saturday and/or Monday. According to <br /> Sarah, on Sunday the facility is closed and is a day off for employees. <br /> -According to the Falling Prices website, the facility is open to customers Tuesday through Saturday, and is <br /> closed on Sunday and Monday. The facility marks down the single price of all its products each day the store is <br /> open, then on Sunday and Monday the facility replaces all of the unsold product with new inventory. <br /> -The amount of hazardous waste generated in the last calendar year could not be determined at the time of <br /> inspection due to the facility not having hazardous waste disposal records on site. <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The EHD has written the <br /> complete report on 12/3/2019 which replaces the initial checklist. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 1/2/2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
