KLEINFELDER <br /> IV. PROJECT TIME SCHEDULE <br /> Upon receipt of our signed contract, the estimated time schedule will be as follows: <br /> STANDARD ANALYTICAL TURN-AROUND TIME <br /> Approximate Time Task <br /> Week - 0 Notification of proposal acceptance in writing (signed contract) <br /> Week 0 - 2 Task 1 and Task 2 - Workplan Preparation, Permitting*, and Soil <br /> Sample Collection <br /> Week 2 - 3 Task 2 - Chemical Analyses** <br /> Week 3 - 4 Task 3 - Reporting <br /> * The time estimated for permitting is approximate. Kleinfelder has no control over the time <br /> expended for regulatory agency activities. <br /> ** Kleinfelder has no control over chemical analysis involved with the project. It is possible that <br /> delays could occur; however, Kleinfelder will make every effort to expedite the process. <br /> V. AUTHORIZATION <br /> Attached to this proposal is our firm's standard "Engineering Services Agreement." Receipt of <br /> our agreement signed by the client with the desired services initialed will serve as our firm's <br /> formal authorization to proceed on this project. We will, of course, have to approve any <br /> requested changes of our scope and contract terms before proceeding. <br /> All terms and conditions indicated in this proposal and our attached contract will be considered <br /> by both parties to be in effect from the effective date of the executed contract through completion <br /> of the project. The proposal will remain in effect for 60 days from the date shown on the <br /> proposal and therefore shall be null and void unless our contract has been signed for the work <br /> performed. <br /> All information gathered during the study by Kleinfelder, Inc. is considered confidential and will <br /> be released only upon written authorization of the client or as required by law. California law <br /> requires a person to inform the State if a situation is encountered that can be considered an <br /> immediate endangerment to the public's health or welfare and/or to the environment.
