Provide a corrective action statement and a copy of the <br /> disposal records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br /> were observed in the hazardous waste storage area: <br /> -Five 55 gallons drums with used oil observed with no hazardous waste labels. <br /> -Twelve 5 gallon buckets with used oil observed with no hazardous waste labels. <br /> -Six 1 gallon container with used oil observed with no hazardous waste labels. <br /> -Two 1 gallon oil containers with used oil observed with no hazardous waste labels. <br /> Note: Operator states that used oil and use oil filters have been onsite for longer than 1 year. <br /> The following were observed outside to trailer/hazardous waste storage area: <br /> -One 1 gallon container with used oil observed with no hazardous waste label. <br /> -One oil pan observed with used oil and oily debris found underneath big rig. <br /> -One orange 5 gallon bucket with used oil observed with no hazardous waste label. <br /> -One 1 gallon container with used coolant observed with no hazardous waste label. <br /> The following were observed on the North East side of the property along the fence: <br /> -One plastic tub with used oil observed with no hazardous waste label. <br /> -One 55 gallon drum with used metal oil filters observed with no hazardous waste label. <br /> -One 1 gallon oil container with used oil observed with no hazardous waste label. <br /> The following were observed on the East side of the property: <br /> -One white 5 gallon bucket with used oil and one used oil filter observed with no hazardous waste label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
