Inspect the drain valve-screen assembly and ensure <br /> Every 3 there are no cracks or cuts . Inspect the shut-off collar <br /> Spill Container Drain years for nicks , cuts , wrapped , etc . If the above are damage , <br /> Valve following replace the drain valve assembly ( 85400 ) . <br /> startup or 4. Reinstall the drain valve and handle assembly ( 85400 ) <br /> using the Installation and Adjustment instructions <br /> found within IOM . Check the drain valve handle for <br /> proper operation . NOTE : The drain valve handle must <br /> snap into place when moved to the closed position ! <br /> Re -adjust if necessary . <br /> 6 . Remove the black spill container using an approved <br /> installation/extraction tool (T-7101 or T-7002 , Black) <br /> from Phil -Tite T-7043 Tool Kit . <br /> 7 . Inspect the 1/4" flat seal ( 85039 ) ( black spill container to <br /> M /F 4X4 riser adaptor seal ) for cuts or damage , <br /> replace if necessary . <br /> 8 . If there is no M /F 4X4 riser adaptor installed on top of <br /> the tank riser this could be the reason for failing <br /> TP-201 . 1 C or D performance test . Install a Phil -Tite <br /> M /F 4X4 Riser Adaptor. Note : Install only one ( 1 ) <br /> M/F 4X4 Riser adaptor per tank riser. Two or more on <br /> top of a single tank riser will cause test failures . <br /> 9 . Inspect the drop tube round seal for correct <br /> installation , cuts or damage , replace if necessary <br /> ( 85039- DT ) . Note : The drop tube seal must be <br /> hil -Titee s special round seal (85039- DT ) , Do Not use <br /> a standard ' 0 ' - Ring . <br /> 10 .
