SAN J 0 A Q U 1 N Environmental Health Department <br /> u ; i y 1 Iii AMENDED <br /> 10/5/2020 <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> RONS AUTO SVC 25533 N HWY 99 RD,ACAMPO September 11, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three <br /> years during the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The generator shall retain each consolidated manifest receipt for at least three years. <br /> This period of retention is extended automatically during the course of any unresolved enforcement action regarding <br /> the regulated activity or as requested by the department or a certified unified program agency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years, 09-11-17 to 09-11-20 for all <br /> hazardous waste including used antifreeze, metal fines, and oily solids. Provide these records and a corrective <br /> action statement to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Oily debris and absorbent were observed on the shop corner floor beside the used antifreeze <br /> 55-gallon drum. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection. Shop personnel applied absorbent to <br /> oily floor and corner,then swept up waste and placed into the hazardous waste oily solids 55-gallon container.
