KLEINFELDER
4 RESULTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Two soil samples (#'s 62087 and 62089) were delivered under chain-of-custody #3247 to
California Analytical Laboratories/Enseco, a laboratory certified by the State of California
Department of Health Services for the requested analyses. The samples were analyzed for
extractable total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) by EPA Method 8015M/3550, purgeable
TPH by EPA Method 8015M/5030, and benzene/tolulene/ethylbenzene/xylene (BTEX)
by EPA Method 8020. The samples were analyzed on a standard laboratory turnaround
schedule requiring 15 working days. Neither TPH nore BTEX were detected above the
laboratory reporting limits. The PID instrument responses were insignificant during
drilling. The analytical laboratory report is contained in Appendix A.
Based on the analytical results and PID responses, no further assessment is recommended
at this time; and, the drill cuttings may be disposed of as clean fill.
F17-91-11 4
Copyright 1991 KLeinfelder, Inc.
