Main
Stockton, CA 95202
Dear Mr. McClellon:
RE: Amendment to Manure Management Plan for 952 W. Bowman Road,
French Camp
Olivera Egg Ranch plans to engage in the practice of"thin pad drying" as a form
of manure management for the north (front) unit "belt houses." This will be a
seasonal practice commencing with the end of the rainy season and ending in
the fall.
The manure will be spread with a manure spreader in the floor of the overflow
backup lagoon. The manure will be dry within two to three days, and then
stacked on piles for hauling off for fall fertilization of nearby farms.
Manure disposal will revert back to being dumped into the manure lagoon by
November 1St of each year. Additionally, the dried manure will be removed from
the premises by November 1St annually.
