The LAWTF performs its <br /> operations in Lathrop, CA. As part of these operations, the LAWTF generates and manages hazardous <br /> wastes. The LAWTF requests your agreement to respond to hazardous waste emergencies at the <br /> LAWTF, as is appropriate for your function, upon request by LAWTF personnel. <br /> Enclosed for your information is a copy of the LAWTF Contingency Plan which can be used to familiarize <br /> your emergency response personnel with the layout of the LAWTF, properties of hazardous wastes <br /> handled at the facility and associated hazards, places where facility personnel would normally be working, <br /> entrances to and roads inside the facility, and possible evacuation routes. <br /> Please respond to this request in writing.
