Yosemite Ave., Manteca, CA 95337 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of the <br /> application for a permit to install a fuel filtration system in the emergency generator room and install <br /> two Veeder-Root 420 sensors —one in the fuel filtration cabinet and one in the drip pan behind the <br /> cabinet— on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. The permit has <br /> been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Stacy Rivera at (209) 468-3440 to arrange the following inspection appointments (a <br /> 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that inspections for <br /> emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br /> a. Sensor functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to ensure that <br /> monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 California Code of <br /> Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. If it is determined that a cold start is necessary, <br /> a copy of the alarm history shall be printed prior to performing the "cold start" of the Veeder <br /> Root system and made available at the time of EHD inspection. Already completed <br /> b. Primary piping soap test: One hour pneumatic pressure test at 110% of operating pressure, <br /> or 40 psi, whichever is greater. Already completed <br /> c. Primary piping test: Witness tightness test performed by SWRCB licensed tank tester. <br /> Already completed <br /> d. Secondary piping soap test: One hour pressure test per manufacturer's guidelines. If there <br /> are no manufacturer's guidelines, test shall be performed using an applicable method <br /> specified in an industry code or engineering standard. Already completed <br /> e. Visual inspection of the piping inside the filtration cabinet for fuel leaks. Already <br /> completed <br /> f. If concrete will be broken near the UST or piping, a secondary containment test must be <br /> performed on the affected UST or piping once concrete is poured in accordance with the <br /> manufacturer's guidelines.
