.f <br /> 1.1.26 definition of an injection well, and California State Water Code <br /> Section 13750.5 stating abandoment of a well must be done by a C-57 <br /> licensed contractor. <br /> There is also Section 13710 of the State Water Code that defines a well <br /> if you would like to look up that section of the law. Oil and gas wells <br /> are exempted from the definition of a well but injection wells are <br /> defined as a well. <br /> Currently the property owners and others are in violation of State and <br /> local laws. <br /> You must obtain the services of a C-57 licensed driller who is willing <br /> to sign the well permit and take responsibility for the work that was <br /> performed. Also double permit fees will have to be paid.
