through a tremmie pipe to the bottom of the borehole, and
the augers will be removed as the grout is placed. Grout
will be pumped into the borehole .in one continuous
operation, until all of the augers have been removed, and
the grout is observed flowing at the ground surface.
o The steel casing removed from the borehole will be steam
cleaned and stored on McCormick and Baxter property.
o Cuttings from the drilling, including grout, bentonite,
sand, and native soils, will be stored on McCormick and
Baxter property.
o All equipment and personal protective gear used during well
abandonment will be decontaminated prior to leaving
McCormick and Baxter property.
We anticipate three hours for drilling the borehole over well A-
9 , and another hour for removal of the casing and grouting. Any
changes in this workplan due to unforseen site conditions will be
made to insure the well abandonment remains in accordance with
California Department of Water Resources Bulletin 74-81.
sincerely,
r
Debbie Wallace,
Registered Geologist 1714309
