The log shall be maintained on site as part of the SPCC Plan that <br /> records the date of visual inspection, findings and date of discharge.The following procedures <br /> are utilized once accumulation of rain water occurs. <br /> e Any accumulated precipitation within the secondary containment system will be <br /> inspected for sheen. <br /> • If a sheen is not observed, the accumulated material may be pumped from the <br /> containment structure onto the ground. <br /> • If a sheen is observed,the accumulated material shall be pumped from the containment <br /> structure into 55-gallon drums or removed by a sub-contracted waste disposal <br /> contractor. The removed material shall be disposed in accordance with local, state,and <br /> federal regulations <br /> 14.2.4 Corrosion Protection (40 CFR 112.8(c)(4)) <br /> This section is not applicable since there are no partially buried or bunkered storage tanks at <br /> this facility and there is no buried piping at this facility. <br /> 14.2.5 Partially Buried or Bunkered Storage Tanks (40 CFR 112.8(c)(5)) <br /> This section is not applicable since there are no partially buried or bunkered storage tanks at <br /> this facility. <br /> 14.2.6 Inspections and Tests (40 CFR 112.8(c)(6)) <br /> Visual inspections of ASTs by facility personnel are performed according to the procedure <br /> described in this SPCC Plan. Leaks from tank seams, gaskets, rivets, and bolts are promptly <br /> corrected. Additionally, visual inspections are performed on piping, valves, appurtenances, <br /> foundations, and supports to assess the equipment's fitness for continued service.
