i <br /> SPCC Plan:Ralph Hayes&Son,Inc., 20177 S.McArthur Dr., Tracy, Califomia(October 2020) 19 <br /> RHS has elected to do the following to satisfy the Overfill Prevention Requirements: <br /> I. Tanks are gauged by RHS personnel or fueling sub-contractor using the stick method in <br /> order to check product level before a delivery occurs. Tanis gauge accuracy is verified and <br /> calibrated,if necessary,by RHS personnel annually. <br /> 2. Direct audible signal communication between the container gauger and the transfer pump <br /> is used during filling operations. <br /> 3. Facility personnel are present throughout the filling operations. <br /> 14.2.9 Effluent Treatment Facilities (40 CFR 112.8(c)(9)) <br /> No effluent treatment facilities are utilized at the RHS facility. <br /> 14.2.10 Visible Discharges (40 CFR 112.8(c)(10)) <br /> Visible oil leaks from sources such as tank seams, gaskets, rivets, and bolts sufficiently large <br /> to cause oil accumulations will be removed upon discovery in accordance with the SPCC <br /> regulations. <br /> 14.2.11 Mobile and Portable Containers (55-gallon drums) <br /> Mobile and portable containers with the potential to contain oil are stored in the Bulk <br /> Containment structure.Additional drums containing non-oil fluids(e.g.,new and used coolant) <br /> are located in the warehouse and beneath the covered storage area next to the warehouse.These <br /> drums are not included in this SPCC Plan because they are not oil fluids. <br /> 15, TRANSFER OPERATIONS, PUMPING, AND IN-PLANT <br /> PROCESSES (40 CFR 112.8(d)) <br /> Transfer operations at this facility include: <br /> • The transfer of oil from tanker trucks to bulk tanks. <br /> • The transfer of oil from bulk tanks to dispenser systems. <br /> • The transfer of oil from bulk tanks to equipment. <br /> The RHS Facility has specific product receiving procedures in place.
