Additionally, AutoZone stores do not have any equipment or processes which <br /> generate spent alkal ne batteries. Spent alkaline batteries, if any, are processed through the CA Retail <br /> Chemical W aste program at each store. <br /> I <br /> Fluorescent Lamps Store employees are specifically trained to never handle spent fluorescent bulbs. <br /> AutoZone contracts with Sylvania Lighting Services (SLS)to relamp every store on a three year cycle <br /> and to insp ct each store semi-annually to replace individual fluorescent bulbs (indoors) and metal <br /> halide bulb (outdoors) as necessary. SLS consolidates all customer waste lamps at their facility and <br /> properly di poses ttrough a bulb management program with Waste Management. SLS does not <br /> provide a B'll of Lading to each individual facility, but rather maintains BOL documentation for all <br /> lamps leavi g their facility.
