All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classifted as "MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#14 Chemical Water Test Kit <br />OBSERVATIONS: DPD test kit not available (OTO testing is not accepted). Provide DPD test kit in 2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain a test kit for measuring the disinfectant residual, combined chlorine, pH, and <br />cyanuric acid (if used) at the pool. Test kit shall be available at all times the pool is in use. Chlorine and bromine test kits shall be DPD <br />type. Chlorine test kits shall be capable of testing for free and total chlorine, so that combined chlorine concentrations can be determined. <br />(CCR 65529) <br />#33 Minimum Turnover Time <br />OBSERVATIONS: 60 gpm (adjusted to 80 gpm) is inadequate flow for this pool (26'x 60"depths between S to 9'). Provide <br />flow rate that can turnover at least 1 pool volume every 6 hours. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Recirculation system shall have the capacity to provide a complete turnover of the pool water within the <br />following timeframes: 30 minutes for spas and spray grounds, 1 hour for wading pools, 2 hours for medical pools, 8 hours forpools <br />constructed prior to 1982, and 6 hours for all other types of public pools. (CBC 31248) Flow rate of the recirculation system shall not fall <br />below 75 percent of the required turnover time. (CCR 65525) <br />#36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br />OBSERVATIONS: Influent lower than Effluent pressure; gauges may not be functioning correctly.
