All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Light on the South West corner is causing electrical problems. Electrician Has disconnected light from <br /> the circuit. Replace or fix light in two weeks, needs reinspection. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31156) <br /> #35 Flow Meters <br /> OBSERVATIONS:All three flow meters were stuck,fix today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Flow meters shall be provided on each recirculation system and shall be installed in accordance with <br /> manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 31258) <br /> #37 Electrical Hazards <br /> OBSERVATIONS:One light was causing GFCI to trip,this is an electrical hazard. Pool was closed until electrician (Robert <br /> Farinelli)came out during inspection and disconnected bad light from the circuit.After this the lights worked properly and the <br /> breaker did not trip.And tested GFCI breaker and it works properly too. Pool was reopened during inspection. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Electrical equipment installed in the water, walls, deck, or equipment room of a public pool shall comply with <br /> California Electrical Code. (CEC 680.4)Light fixtures installed in the pool that operate at more than 15 volts shall be protected by a ground <br /> fault circuit interrupter.
