The hazardous <br /> materials at this facility are stored on the retail sales floor,in the receiving area and in the pharmacy. In <br /> stores that operate a wet photo processing lab,they may also be stored in the photo lab. The nature of the <br /> hazardous materials on site includes flammable and combustible liquids,flammable gasses,aerosol <br /> products,corrosive liquids,unstable and water reactive liquids,solid oxidizers,irritants,and chemicals <br /> classified as other health hazards. In stores operating a wet photo processing lab,CVS Pharmacy generates <br /> hazardous waste in the form of used photo processing chemicals. In addition,hazardous waste may be <br /> generated from severely damaged prepackaged consumer products or unsalable pharmaceuticals,or <br /> through or accidental spills. Facility personnel work throughout the facility. <br /> Due to the possibility that this store has or will be registered as a Large Quantity Generator of hazardous <br /> waste because of low volumes of acutely hazardous pharmaceutical or nicotine-related waste,the CVS <br /> Contingency Plan is enclosed for your review,pursuant to 40 CFR 265.53.
