However,the following was found: <br /> -A Toxic Waste tote was found open due to a missing lock handle. <br /> -A Toxic Waste tote was found missing the contents on the label and an accumulation start date of 4/7/18. <br /> -A Universal Waste tote contained a flammable Revlon Gel Eye Liner. <br /> -An Oxidizers tote contained a toxic Dove Men+Care Shampoo. <br /> -A Flammables tote lacked the physical state on the label and contained three toxic dish soaps. <br /> -A Toxic Waste marked as having OTC pharmaceuticals contained nine flammable CVS sunscreen spray cans. <br /> -Four unlabeled grey totes contained hazardous wastes with different hazardous properties,and were found <br /> throughout the store. <br /> -An Oxi Clean Laundry Detergent was found with a broken cap, leaking inside a single StrongPak bag in an <br /> unlabeled container and without absorbent. <br /> -A large StrongPak bag full of hazardous waste in smaller StrongPak bags was found on top of a red basket, <br /> located on the 2nd floor of the store. <br /> -A cracked leaking container of Tide laundry detergent was found over the floor drain adjacent the mop sink in the <br /> store's back storage area. <br /> -Five totes of hazardous waste on a top shelf were blocked by product boxes and pallets in the back storage area. <br /> Hazardous waste container storage and transfer areas shall be inspected weekly for leaking containers and for <br /> deterioration of containers and the containment system caused by corrosion and other factors. Immediately begin <br /> conducting the necessary weekly inspections adequately for all hazardous waste containers at this facility. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(a)Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> A hazardous waste Toxic Waste tote was found in the store's back storage room with an accumulation start date of <br /> 4/7/18. Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of hazardous waste or 2.2 Ib of acutely hazardous waste per <br /> month may store waste on site up to 90 days.
