John Alaniz [EH]
From: Rogers, Glenn <grogers@pactiv.com>
Sent: Thursday, December 6, 2018 11:40 AM
To: John Alaniz [EH]
Subject: Follow Up Information - LQG Inspection of Pactiv - Performance Drive facility
Attachments: Polystyrene 484 .pdf
John,
In response to our conversation on Thursday, November 29, 1 am providing you with some additional requested
information:
1. Item 301: In addition to our written response dated November 20, 2018 Pactiv would like to add that the dried
ink stains/accumulated ink observed during the inspection were properly cleaned up and put in the ink/oily
solids waste containers for disposal.
2. Item 114: The contractor who cleaned up the ammonia spill (ServePro) maintains that the manifest they sent us
to include in our original response to this item is the correct manifest. They maintain that all of the ammonia
wastewater from Pactiv that was collected that day was included on that manifest.
3. Item 102: In addition to our written response dated November 20, 2018 Pactiv would like to add that the white
cup resin dust is generated from the trimming of plastic sheet in the lid making process. This material is
collected in dust socks and emptied into containers for disposal as a non -hazardous waste. Attached is the SDS
for the resin that is used to make the plastic sheet. No chemicals or other coatings are used on, or to make, the
plastic sheet prior to the trimming process.
Please let me know if you need further information or clarification.
Glenn Rogers
Regional Environmental Manager
Pactiv LLC
314 Mooresville Blvd
Mooresville, NC 28115
704-658-0186 (office), 704-240-1129 (cell)
grogers(@_pactiv. com
DISCLAIMER: This electronic message together with any attachments is confidential.
