Lodi Chrome Incorporated (Lodi Chrome) <br />operated a chrome plating shop at the listed address which generated, managed, <br />stored and disposed of hazardous waste at this site. On January 10, 2007, the <br />California Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Toxic Substances <br />Control (DTSC) conducted an inspection at Lodi Chrome. The inspection found <br />that the facility ceased operation in June 2006. However, a substantial quantity <br />of hazardous waste still remains on the property. DTSC has discussed the <br />cleanup of the site with Mr. Reggie Mason, owner of Lodi Chrome; however, it is <br />unknown at this time what he will do regarding the cleanup. <br />Please be advised that as the property owner, you are also responsible for the <br />hazardous waste that is on the property at 316 North Main Street, Lodi. This <br />responsibility included the cleanup and removal of hazardous waste from the <br />property and in ensuring that the hazardous waste is managed in compliance <br />with the laws and regulations governing hazardous waste. DTSC would like to <br />meet with you in order to discuss the steps to be taken to cleanup the Lodi <br />Chrome site. We have tentatively scheduled a meeting at DTSC's office located <br />at 8800 Cal Center Drive, Sacramento, California, 95826, for February 16, 2007 <br />at 1:30 pm. <br />® Printed on Recycled Paper <br />
