I wanted to confirm that the Department of <br /> Toxic Substances Control ("DTSC")has agreed to a continued stay of its enforcement action against <br /> Lodi Chrome. This stay is with the understanding that you will submit to DTSC a contract or letter <br /> from a qualified consultant that evidences that the consultant will be working for Lodi Chrome to <br /> develop a comprehensive waste minimization plan by May 7, 2005. Further, Lodi Chrome will <br /> submit to DTSC its comprehensive waste minimization plan by June 8, 2005. This plan will <br /> address, at a minimum, a recirculating water system, a metal dust collection system and sealing the <br /> working area of the plating shop.
