f <br /> Department of Toxic Substances Control <br /> Maziar Movassagh <br /> l.lnda S.Adams Acting Director Arnold Schwarzenegger <br /> Secretary for Governor <br /> Environmental Protecticn 5796 Corporate Avenue <br /> Cypress, California 90630 <br /> February 23, 2010 <br /> Mr. Doug Larson <br /> 1239 Heidelberg Way <br /> Lodi,,California 95242 <br /> NO FURTHER ACTION FOR THE FORMER LODI CHROME FACILITY LOCATED AT <br /> 316 NORTH MAIN STREET, LODI, CALIFORNIA 9,5242 <br /> EPA ID NUMBER CAR 000143776 <br /> Dear Mr, Larson: <br /> The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has completed the review of the <br /> Preliminary Environmental Assessment Report and the additional Facility Closure <br /> Report (Report) for 316 North Main Street, Lodi, California (Site) dated May 18, 2009. <br /> The Report was submitted by GeoRestoration, Inc. as part of the Corrective Action <br /> 'Consent Agreement Docket Number SRPD RPDD06/07SCC-4378. <br /> The impacted soil at the Site was excavated and a verification sampling indicated that <br /> the levels are within or below the California Human Health Screening Levels (CHHSLs) <br /> for cadmium 1.7 mg/kg and nickel'1600 mglkg. DTSC concurs with the Report finding <br /> that the metals concentration levels left in soil do not pose an unacceptable threat to <br /> human health and the environment. Therefore, DTSC is hereby approving a No Further <br /> Action for the Site. The approvaii is based on the assumption'that the information <br /> submitted in the Report as well as any other information provided to DTSC and used as <br /> the basis for the decision is true and accurate and that inaccuracies in such information <br /> may be a basis for subsequent nullification of this approval, <br /> Based on the Report, DTSC has determined that the Larson Family Trust dated <br /> May 23, 1996 (Respondent) has performed all the corrective action activities pursuant <br /> to the agreement and that a No,Further Action is warranted at the facility. The <br /> provisions of the consent agreement will be deemed satisfied upon execution by moth <br /> parties of the enclosed Acknowledgement of Termination and Agreement to Record <br /> —Preserva lon andTleserva Ion -flRig is Acknowledgment).
