Hazelton Avenue
i Stockton, CA 95205
Q Re: Return to Compliance for 1815 Navy Drive, Stockton
soft
Q Dear Ms. Rivera,
In doing my research in responding to this violation notice,it appears that Alco
had previously complied and sent you back the requested information in September 2015.
I am not sure why these were not resolved at that point. I have attached the old emails
responding to your request back from 2015. It is very possible that I was left off some of
the responses back and forth so my information may be incomplete.
In addition,I am also providing the information again here.
Violation#102:
Part 1: Area with oily floor. Cleaned immediately and pictures sent to Stacy Rivera on
9/15/15. This is complete.
Part 2: 55 Gallon Drum of Copper turnings. These copper turnings are classified as an
Excludable Recyclable Material. The California DTSC, Definition of a Hazardous Waste
excludes material that are recycled in certain ways. 22CCR Section 66261.4(b)(2) states
that materials which are exempted or excluded from classification as solid or hazardous
waste pursuant to 40 CFR section 261.4. 40 CFR section 261.4(13) lists processed scrap
metal in the list of exclusions. Therefore this material is not classified as a Hazardous
Waste.
Violation#104:
See Attached for Site Map and Contingency Plan
Violation#110:
All Copies of Manifests were previously attached to the invoices paid on these manifests
and kept at the corporate office. The procedures have changed and they are now kept on
site. See attached for copies of manifests.
www.alcometals.com
